Embedded Controller Technology

Use of the 'Venom-SC' (VM-1) and 'Venom' (K4S) languages is restricted by licence. This licence is necessary for both development use and for use in the end application.

However, a licence to use one of these languages is carried by each VM-1 or K4S controller that was originally purchased from Micro-Robotics Ltd or our authorised representatives.

The purchase of a VM-1 controller licenses the use of Venom-SC in that one controller. The purchase of a K4S controller licenses the use of Venom in that one controller.

The licence does not allow the language image to be altered in any way - it must be used as purchased or as downloaded from Micro-Robotics Ltd or our authorised representatives.

A language image may be copied as many times as is necessary so long as each copy is used only within a VM-1 or K4S controller.

Venom licences for other platforms are negotiable.
