Upgrading your Venom System

You may download ROM images of Venom-SC and burn them into flash.

However, these files, the code they represent, and the Venom-SC Language are licensed for use, unaltered, in Micro-Robotics' VM-1 controller only.

All ROM image files are Copyright © Micro-Robotics Ltd.

The ROM images are in Motorola S-Record format. They should be burnt into a 29F040 flash device (70nS, PLCC package, from AMD or ST - or our Product Code 5820). It is advisable to leave unprogrammed areas of the flash at $FF.

The Starter Kit includes a flash programmer. See the OperatingSystem.Copy message in the Venom-SC Help files for details on how to use it.
